Founded in 1998, we are a student-led group that organises weekly Swing Dance lessons, workshops and opportunities to social dance. Our aims are simple: to ensure that Swing is accessible for all and that as many people as possible come to learn about the joy of this fun, creative and sociable dancing style. The last few years have seen huge growth in the popularity of Swing Dance in Sheffield, with our weekly lessons seeing up to 80 dancers each week.
Our focus is on Lindy Hop (1930s-40s style) and Charleston (1920s-30s style) dances, with some jazzy moves thrown in as well.
